Welcome to the Neurodiversity Network
At The Neurodiversity Network, our mission is to promote workforce development by advancing neurodiversity acceptance and creating a culture of belonging in both higher education and the workplace. Through providing student resources, strategic partnerships, educational programs, and advocacy efforts, we empower organizations and academic institutions to embrace neurodiversity as a key driver of innovation, creativity, and success. Although we are housed in the College of Engineering, we accept all students from Northeastern regardless of the college.
Neurodiversity is a still- developing concept that regards individuals with differences in brain function and behavioral traits as part of normal variation in the human population. The issues this network is trying to alleviate are based on the need for representation in a population that is often forgotten or underrepresented.
